Dream’s Water Clock: A Journey Through Time

"Tick-Tock! Dreamy Clock" is an interactive water clock designed specifically for kindergarteners. It transforms the abstract concept of time into a fun-filled visual adventure. Starting from a mountain spring, clear water flows through complex gears and pipes. Every hour, a magical energy conversion begins—turning water power into electricity and eventually launching a rocket! In this colorful world of dreams, children can witness the flow and transformation of time with their own eyes.

This installation masterfully incorporates the concept of Rube Goldberg machines, taking a simple idea of time and expressing it through a series of complex and delicate mechanical structures. Children can observe the flow of water and shifting colors while experiencing the rhythm of time firsthand. Through this magical clock, children explore logic, optics, and time through play, sparking their boundless imagination.

Geometry Playground

Look up at the 3D suspended installation in the atrium! This work draws inspiration from Montessori geometric elements, weaving basic shapes like squares, circles, and triangles into imagery of schooling fish, water droplets, and ripples. Viewed from below, it looks like fish playing in the water; as children move upward, the shifting perspectives reveal new forms. Upon reaching the third-floor landing, the piece transforms into majestic mountain ranges and shimmering stars. From different angles, children can even discover the changing phases of the moon, making them feel as if they are wandering through a vast universe and sensing the wonders of nature.

By utilizing the open atrium and changing viewpoints, this 3D installation allows children to intuitively learn about geometry, space, and the natural world during their daily activities. It invites every child to embark on an imaginative journey of exploration.
